Rewire – Royal Theatre
During Rewire Festival in The Hague, I worked at the Royal Theatre, where I was responsible for the sound on one of the stages. The festival featured a wide range of experimental and alternative artists, creating an inspiring mix of styles and unexpected sounds. One of the acts even used intentional feedback generated through glass-driven speakers, resulting in a unique and challenging mixing situation.
I worked on an Avid S6L mixing console and used the theatre’s in-house PA system. In addition, every signal had to be recorded separately, which required extra precision and a clear overview of the entire setup. It was a technically complex yet highly engaging production, where creativity and control went hand in hand.
