I had the opportunity to work at ESMO on behalf of my client, ACS. During this international congress, I was responsible as the FOH engineer for a hall accommodating approximately 3,500 attendees. From my position in the centre of the room, I ensured that every speaker, panel member, and video presentation sounded clear and natural — a significant challenge in such a large space.

The sound system consisted of multiple L-Acoustics KIVA arrays, providing full coverage throughout the venue. A combination of wireless microphones and lectern microphones allowed every speaker to present confidently and without technical concerns. It was an intensive but highly rewarding production to be part of: large-scale, tightly coordinated, and supported by a strong technical team working together to deliver a professional result.
