Esmo - Madrid
At ESMO Congress 2026, one of the world's leading international oncology conferences, I worked as an audio engineer at IFEMA Madrid. As part of the technical production team, I contributed to the PA system setup across all 17 conference rooms, with 14 rooms equipped with L-Acoustics KIVA systems and the remaining three featuring Meyer Sound CAL32 and CAL64 systems. This large-scale installation required teamwork, technical precision and careful coordination to deliver consistent audio quality throughout the venue.
During the congress, I was responsible for live audio in the Almería conference room, ensuring clear and reliable sound for scientific presentations, panel discussions and international speakers. Working with professional audio equipment from Allen & Heath, L-Acoustics and Shure, my focus was on speech intelligibility, seamless transitions and dependable audio performance in a fast-paced international conference environment.
ESMO - Berlin
Technical audio support for a large international conference with approximately 3,500 attendees. My role focused on delivering a reliable and consistent audio environment throughout the event, combining live operation, system knowledge and fast troubleshooting in a demanding production setting.
The production required close coordination between different technical disciplines, quick decision-making and a system that could perform consistently throughout long show days. This project reflects the kind of work SoundSmith is built around: combining technical expertise with clear communication, practical problem-solving and dependable execution.
